Essential Journeying
The Magdalene Page
Mary Magdalene has been with me for as long as I can remember. When I received my initial training in Medicinal Aromatherapy she began speaking and appearing to me directly. Her teachings and guidance play a major role in my healing practice. For a long time I have said "I do not speak for her" She is asking me to edit that to say, I do not tell her story. She does speak through me. She is sharing lessons for the evolution of humanity. For finding greater self-love and compassion. For understanding the wisdom that came from her experience that can be learned by all those that are willing and open to hear her. These are not the stories themselves but the lessons from the stories we have all heard a hundred variations of, in this forum the stories are vessels of the experience. The fact that there are so many versions of her story is itself one of the lessons. Which you choose to believe tells you what you need to learn.
This page is intended to be a comprehensive landing site for the work I do surrounding Mary Magdalene. Here I have added a couple of posts I wrote on social media to get started.
Essential Oils are at the bottom of the page.
Holy Week 2022
April 2022
During Holy Week I am always reminded about the sacredness of our time here on Earth. That although we exist on multiple planes, dimensions and lifetimes, what we do here and now can create ripples throughout all space and time if we do it with clear intentions.
She reminds me that nothing is ever lost.
She reminds me that when we show up everyday to do our work we will be seen and heard even if it takes millennia. Once the seeds are planted they will grow in their time.
She reminds me of this every day, whenever I am in doubt or feel stalled, even though I don't always listen. I am listening.
Good Friday

Mary Magdalene shares with us an awareness to the importance to bearing witness to suffering. That sometimes the most important thing we can do is hold space and provide comfort. That no matter how hard we want to take someone's suffering away we cannot. That we all have roles to play in each other's stories, and have all played all of the roles in some lifetimes. That forgiveness, compassion, and unconditional love heals all.
Healing Sexual Trauma
March 2022
Much of my work is influenced by Mary Magdalene's direct guidance and on occasion she works through me in healings. A few weeks ago I had some sexual trauma resurface, and for the first time I asked her for help. She has done this for others through me, but it had never occurred to me to ask her for help with this stuff for myself. I was considering reaching out to a trusted spiritual counselor for assistance when I heard her voice and saw her in front of me. She told me this was something she could help me do. She reminded me she is here when ever I needed her. So I asked her to help me clear this pain that I couldn't seem to shake.
She lead me through an anointing ritual with spikenard and rose, and spoke affirmations as I felt her work. I fell asleep holding the carnelian egg that I have that tunes into her energy. When I woke up I felt refreshed and these events that had been plaguing my thoughts and my heart were gone. Updating this a year later I can say it has not returned and additional layers have been cleared.
Spikenard
July 22, 2022
Spikenard, the oil mentioned in bible associated with Mary Magdalene is a root that grounds us and brings us deeper connection to Earth. Spikenard also activates the 3rd eye tuning in us in to the wisdom of the cosmos and our higher selves. The oil itself is green which is the color of the heart chakra and the center of our soul. The heart is the bridge between our spirit and physical self. No wonder spikenard is the oil of Mary Magdalene as she guides us though walking with grace on the Earth holding space firmly in our physical reality while maintaining our connection to the higher dimensions.
Nutmeg and the Red Eggs
April 7, 2021
The story has been told that after Jesus's crucifixion and resurrection, Mary Magdalene went to share the story with Emperor Tybrius. Being of a noble up bringing she was granted audience. She spoke of the horrific treatment and killing of her beloved, and his miraculous return. The emperor dismissed her claims and said that it was no more possible for that to be true than for the eggs on his table to turn red. Sure enough they did! This is one of the reasons we dye eggs at Easter and why Mary Magdalene is often depicted with a red egg.
Nutmeg manifests herself as a red egg. She warms our sacral and assists in stoking our fires of creativity so that we may birth our thoughts into being. She connects us with our divine feminine nature and helps us understand how to bring the richness of creation into the physical world.
Anoint the belly, legs, and head to call in Mary Magdalene and connect with these fertile grounds of life and your own resurrection.
